The Pennsdale Friends Quaker Meeting House is the longest continuing place of worship in Lycoming County since it was built in 1799. In 2014, it underwent an almost-year-long restoration which included replastering the interior (which itself took two months), sanding and refinishing the original floors (for the first time ever), painting the exterior woodwork, reinforcing some of the beams in the attic, and replacing three windows.
